TASK 6 Heavy Ion Accelerator Design

The Heavy Ion Accelerator task will provide an engineering oriented design of a CW linear post-accelerator for radioactive ion beams produced with the EURISOL facility. It will have the capability to accelerate light, medium and heavy ion beams up to 100 A.MeV. It will address the requirements for beam characteristics and distribution demanded by users. It will also examine ways to accommodate the requirements for beta-beam production.
