Electron beam-plasma ionizing target for the production of neutron-rich nuclides
V. Panteleev, A. Barzakh, S. Essabaa et al.

The production of neutron rich Ag, In and Sn isotopes from a UC target of high density has been investigate at the IRIS facility. An electron beam-plasma ion source has been used to ionize the species produced.

Test of high density UC targets development at Gatchina for neutron rich radioactive beam facilities
G. Lhersonneau, O. Alyakrinskiy, O. Bajeat et al.

Production of on-line mass separator neutron rich isotopes using fission induced by 1 GeV protons on high density uranium carbide has been investigate and results compared with the low density targets yields.

Studies of uranium carbide targets of a high density
V. Panteleev, O. Alyakrinskiy, M. Barbui et al.

Production of Cs and Fr isotopes from UC targets of high density has been investigated at IRIS. The production yields and the release efficiencies of 4.5 g/cm^2 and 91 g/cm^2 targets are compared.

Status of IRENA ion source R&D for SPIRAL2 and EURISOL-DS
C.Lau, M. Cheikh-Mhamed, S. Essabaa

To take up the most challenging issue of supplying plasma ion source able to produce radioactive beams under extreme SPIRAL-2 and EURISOL irradiation conditions, an R&D program has been initiated to work out IRENA (Ionization by Radial Electrons Neat Adaptation) ion source. Using EBGP (Electron Beam Generated Plasma) concept, the ion source is specifically adapted for thick target and intense irradiation.
A validation prototype has been designed, constructed and tested.
Results obtained will be presented and commented and IRENA potential discussed, particularly in the framework of the multi-megawatts EURISOL.

Perturbation of measured release curves of radiative nuclei by the decay of precursor nuclei in the target is investigated.
